Playa Sayulita
La playa Principal de Sayulita de gran extensión. Al sur de la playa es donde se reúnen la mayoría de las personas, ya que es donde se encuentra la entrada al pueblo y donde la mayoría de los comercios están establecidos, ademas es de este lado donde se forman las mejores olas. Esta playa es donde ocurren diversos eventos a lo largo del año, en especial los torneos de surf, los cuales se llevan a cabo dependiendo la estaciona del año, y la temporada de olas.
Si lo que quieres es la fiesta, tomar y comer en la playa, surfear, o simplemente admirar a los surfistas correr las olas, la parte sur de la playa debe de ser tu eleccion. Encontraras gran diversidad de restuarantes, y de comerciantes, ademas de sombrilas, renta de tablas, escuelas de surf, empresas de tours y otros servicios.
La parte norte tiene menos infraestructura y hay algunas casas, ademas suele estar mas sola, asi que si para ti el bullicio y las multitudes no es lo tuyo te sugerimos establecerte en la parte mas al norte de la playa.

Playa Los Muertos
La playa los Muertos, es por muchos la favorita y la bonita de Sayulita, y es que si le preguntas a un surfer seguramente te dirá que prefiere una playa con olas. Esta playa es de un oleaje tranquilo a diferencia de las grandes olas que puede tener la playa principal de Sayulita, la playa es pequeña, de arena dorada y aguas transparentes.
Para llegar a esta tranquila y encantadora playa lo único que tienes que hacer es preguntar a los locales donde se encuentra el cementerio del pueblo y a unos cuantos metros de este encontraras la playa. el sitio ideal para nados tranquilos, incluso snorkelear cuando el mar no está picado. Hay algunas rocas fuera del mar a la izquierda, en los días calmados, estas rocas suelen ser visitadas por una amplia variedad de peces tropicales.
Sin duda alguna es la playa predilecta de varias personas, ya que es pequeña, rodeada de jungla y rocas, y ademas escondida detrás de un cementerio muy particular que se viste de colores, catrinas, flores y velas el día de muertos. Una gran celebración en la capital del surf.
Si andas por Sayulita, no olvide visitar el cementerio del pueblo para poder encontrar la playa Los Muertos. Pero es una visita obligada si estas rondando por ahí en los días cerca al día de los muertos, 1 y 2 de noviembre ya que el panteón de Sayulita se llena de velas y adornos a sus difuntos.
